Mrs. Abby Gail Glover, 53, of Lancing, TN went home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2012. She was a member of the Abdiel Temple #147 Daughters' of the Nile, Knoxville, TN. She attended Oak Ridge Schools. She was a Naturally self-taught artist, loved animals, raised Lamancha and Nubian goats and also trained show horses. Abby is preceded in death by her daughter - Dawn Marie, sister - Nancy Louella Green, grandparents - Gunter and Louella Ray Green of Columbus, MS and Harold and Nancy Cravens, Pineville, KY. She is survived by her husband - Walter Glover, Lancing, TN, daughter - Amanda (Travis) VanNorstran, Knoxville, TN, grandchildren - Morgan Taylor and Addison VanNorstran, Parents - Robert and Patricia Green, Seymour, TN, Father & Mother in law - Walter and Joann Glover, Memphis, TN, sister - Melinda York, Charleston, SC, brother - Robert (Lisa) Green, Jr, Oak Ridge, TN, sisters and brother-in-laws - Phyllis Woodruff and husband Glenn, Kristen Russell and husband Joe, Anita Chandler and husband Jimmy and Kathy Davenport and husband Greg. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. EST, Friday, march 20, 2012 at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg, TN. A Daughters of the Nile Memorial Service will follow at 8:00 p.m. Visitation services will be also held Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 2 - 3 PM at Piney Grove Church in Steens, MS. Interment will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery. Donation can be made to the Susan G. Korman Foundation or the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
