Jeffery Alan "Al" Hunter Jeffery Alan "Al" Hunter, 54 of Columbus, MS passed away, Saturday, May 26, 2011 at his residence. Private memorial Services for Mr. Hunter will be at a later date. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mr. Hunter was born October 26, 1956 to Inez McCoy Hunter and the late William E. Hunter in Japan. He moved to Columbus 48 years ago from Spain. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. He was co-owner of Columbus Rubber & Gasket, Columbus, MS for the past 30 years. In addition to his mother, Mr. Hunter is survived by his wife Cindy Markham Hunter – Columbus, MS, sons – Jeff (Kara) Hunter – Tupelo, MS & Tyler Hunter – Columbus, MS, brother – Steve (Gerri) Hunter – Columbus, MS, sister – Carol (Brian) Johnston – Germantown, TN, Grandchildren – Hayden, Ava, & Brennan Hunter.
