Albert Clardy, 86, of Columbus, MS passed away May 15, 2022, at his residence.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be 2:00 PM at Clear Springs Cemetery in Maben, MS, with Bro. George O'Brian officiating, and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Clardy was born December 23, 1935, in Oktibbeha County, MS to the late Jewel Crowson Clardy and John Clardy.  He served his country in the Mississippi National Guard as a Sergeant after Thirty years of service, including active duty in the Korean War.  Mr. Clardy enjoyed genealogy and researching family history.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Audine Clardy; and son, Terry Clardy.

Mr. Clardy is survived by his sons – Keith Clardy, and Jerry Clardy; and daughter – Debbie Castello; 7 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren
