Amanda Gail Otts, 49 of Columbus, MS passed away, Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

A memorial visitation will be Saturday, December 17, 2016, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Otts was born April 29, 1967, to Minnie Starnes Armour and the late Boyd Armour, Jr. in Columbus, MS and lived here her entire life. She was a childcare provider and attended Columbus Christian Center, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Otts was Mom and Nana to many over the years.  In addition to her father, Mrs. Otts was preceded in death by her husband – Jody Otts.

Mrs. Otts is survived by her daughters – Hanna Otts,  Bridget Otts,  and Lauren (Aaron) Cummings; mother -  Minnie Starnes Armour; brother – Boyd Armour ; sister – Laura Armour; grandchildren – Amara Newman, Karsyn Cummings and Brantley Cummings; nephews – Justin Barksdale and Jarod Barksdale and aunt – Jean Hodge.
