Anna Mae Perrigin Smith, 59 of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

A Memorial service will be held Friday, July 29, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Columbus Christian Center with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating.  Lowndes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith was born April 7, 1957, to the late Willie E. & Eloise Richardson Perrigin in Lowndes County, MS and lived here her entire life.  She was a member of Columbus Christian Center, Columbus, MS and worked at Pizza Hut.  She loved watching soap operas and listening to gospel music especially Vestal Goodman and The Gaithers.  Mrs. Smith enjoyed being a mother and housewife.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband – James C. Smith, Columbus, MS; daughters – Karen Price, Kristie Shane, Danielle (Pete) Hill, and Mandy (Joe) Koger; sons – James (Scarlet) Smith, Don (Pam) Smith, Glenn (Amy) Smith, Paul Michales, Scott Michales, Robert (Beth) Smith and Matt (Marsha) Smith; sisters – Nancy (Bob) Koppenhoefer, Connie (John) Bitgood, Glenda (Billy Jack) Owens, Joan (Paul) Ramage, Lynette (Mike) Castro and Kay (Larry) Osborne; brothers – Willie Earl (Sharon) Perrigin, James (Barbara) Perrigin, and Neil (Anita) Perrigin, 28 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
