Anne Husmann Smith, 77 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Trinity Health Care in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 28, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at East End Baptist Church, Columbus, MS.  Funeral Service will be Sunday, May 28, 2023, at 3:00 PM at East End Baptist Church in Columbus, MS with Rev. Byron Benson and Rev. Bill Duncan officiating. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Starkville, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mrs. Anne was born May 19, 1946, in Mississippi to the late Wilfred Charles Husmann and late Catherine Morgan Husmann. She was a long-time member of East End Baptist, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Anne was a Special Ed. Teacher for many years. She enjoyed music, cooking, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Anne is survived by her husband of many years- Ernest Smith; son- Stephen Smith; daughter- Susan (Brian) Lollar; grandchildren- Drew Lollar, Alyssa Lollar, and Cason Lollar; sister- Mary (Clint) Bestor; nephews- Charles Anderson (Kathi) Bestor, Michael Allen (Laura Beth) Bestor, and a host of cousins.

Pallbearers will be Travis Berry, Marty Dees, Charlie Veazey, Jerry Wright, Jack Gordman, and Daniel Adams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gideon's of Columbus Camp and Men of Adult IV Sunday School Class.
