Annie Grace Andrews, 78 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11 AM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Rev. Steve Brown and Bro. Jaron Andrews officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mrs. Andrews was born August 4, 1935 in Pickens County, AL to the late Chester and Mollie Hitt Junkin. She was a 1953 graduate of New Hope High School. Mrs. Andrews worked for South Central Bell for 32 years and then worked part time for a local Real Estate Company. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and telephone pioneers. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son- Reed Andrews. Mrs. Andrews is survived by her husband-Dwight Andrews, Columbus, MS; sons-Tim (Carolyn) Andrews, Ethelsville, AL and Dave (DeeDee) Andrews, Columbus, MS; daughter-Sonja (Johnny) Patchen, Kennedy, AL; grandchildren- Mollie Kate Andrews, Will Andrews, Sarah Grace Andrews, Peyton Ellington, Jaron (Meredith) Andrews, Lee Andrews and Scott Banks; great grandchildren-Neely Andrews, Anna Beth Andrews, Presley Andrews and Marlee Ellington;sister-Bobbie Price. Pallbearers will be Rufus Mason, Drake Gregory, Jared Garrett, Greg Jones, Ed Nabors and Michael David Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Dahlem, Larry Andrews, Wayne Eaves, Jim Newell, James Bailey, Frank Brown, Dale Shepard and Roy Fuqua. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, P.O.
