Annie Lois Chambers, 87 of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Windsor Place, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Chambers was born September 23, 1926 in Kosciusko, MS to the late William A. and Lillie Mae Davis Parker. She moved to Lowndes County 25 years ago from Mathiston, MS. Mrs. Chambers was a caregiver for over 15 years. She was the last survivor of 13 children. Mrs. Chambers is survived by her daughters-Lillie Joann Melton, West Point, MS, Janet Maciborski, Mesa, AZ and Bobbie Melton, Columbiana, AL; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS is in charge of all arrangements.
