Annie Will McNees Fowler, 91, of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Aurora Nursing Home in Columbus, MS.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017, from 11:30 – 1:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 1:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Black officiating and Bro. Melvin Mordecai assisting. Interment will be at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, Fernbank, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Fowler was born on December 16, 1925, in Melbourne, AL to the late William and Irene Rector McNees. She was a longtime member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church, Columbus, MS until her health declined. Mrs. Fowler was a member of Pioneers and Holiday Rambler Camping Club. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fowler worked at AT & T as a drafting clerk for over 30 years before retiring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband of 66 Years- M C Fowler (deceased in 2012), sisters- Amy Lee Ray and Gracia Austeen Smith, and brothers- Rabon McNees and Mervin McNees.

Mrs. Fowler is survived by her only son- Freddie Wayne (Mary Lovorn) Fowler of Columbus, MS; grandchildren- Heather Cade (David) Ashmore of Rockwell, NC and Andrew Wayne Fowler of Columbus, MS; and great-grandchildren- Ashlee Myranda Fondren and Kody McKinley Fondren, both of Rockwell, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Don McNees, Dale McNees, Mervin McNees, David Ray, Ronnie Ray, Dewitt Ray, and Andrew Fowler. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Fowler, Jimmy Sprouse, Danny Mac Smith, Staff at Aurora Nursing Home, Special Caregiver – Chondrica "Slim" Fenton, and Halcyon Hospice Staff.

Memorials may be made to donor's favorite charity.
