Annie Mayzel Kimbrell Annie Mayzel Kimbrell, 72, passed away, Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Aurora Australis Lodge, Columbus, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Kimbrell will be Sunday, September 4, 2011 from 6 – 8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services for Mrs. Kimbrell will be Monday, September 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at First Pentecostal Church, Columbus, MS with Rev. Steve Blaylock, officiating and Rev. Tommy Galloway, assisting. Mrs. Kimbrell will lay in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Kimbrell was born July 5, 1939 to the late W.B. "Berlin" Tullos and Erma Lee Lamb at home in Attala County, MS. She moved to Columbus, MS 52 years ago from Marks, MS. She was a housewife and enjoyed working in food service for several businesses over the years. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church, Columbus, MS. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kimbrell is preceded in death by her brother – Donald Tullos, sister – Hazel Perrigin and special nephew – Jeff Smith. Mrs. Kimbrell is survived by her Husband of 47 years- James "Jim" Kimbrell, Columbus, MS, Sons – James T "Tim" (Barbara) Kimbrell – Columbus, MS and Richard B."Ricky" (Annette) Kimbrell – Tupelo, MS and Daughter – Becky Smith, Columbus, MS. Sister – Patricia Wright, Crystal Springs, MS, Brothers – Johnnie (Peggy) Tullos, Marks, MS and Walter (Gail) Tullos, Enid, MS, grandchildren – SPC James "Timmy" (Ashley) Kimbrell, Katie Kimbrell, Zachary Kimbrell and Lucas Smith. Pallbearers will be Timmy Kimbrell, Katie Kimbrell, Zachary Kimbrell, Lucas Smith, Billy Miller, Kenneth Montgomery and Adam Drummond.
