Annie Lorean Smith "Tete" McCrary, 92, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at her residence. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am with Bro. Kevin Kay officiating in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel.Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. McCrary was born January 24, 1923 to the late Sherrill A., Sr. and Annie Lorean Henderson Smith in Columbus, MS. She lived in Columbus her entire life, where she was a member of East Columbus Church of Christ, Columbus, MS. In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting thimbles, loved gardening, and cherished spending time with her great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband-Joe E. McCrary, Sr; her sons-Joe E. McCrary, Jr. and Ronald Smith McCrary; brother-Sherrill A. Smith, Jr.; and sister-Allie Mae Smith Coleman. Mrs. McCrary is survived by her daughter-Anne Temple, Columbus, MS; sister-Faye Eads, Nashville, TN; grandchildren-Christopher Temple, Phoebe (Chris) Breland, Nicole Tucker, and Gregory McCrary; great grandchildren-Eleanor Faye Breland and Amelia Bell Breland, and a host of nieces and nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gentiva Home Health and Hospice Staff, and Young People's Bible Class at East Columbus Church of Christ.
