Arbutus Gladys Finch, 82, went home with the Lord May 18, 2016, in Michigan.

A Funeral Service was held in Michigan on May 21, 2016. Graveside Services will be Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 11:00 AM in Friendship Cemetery in Columbus, MS with a luncheon following. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Finch was the beloved wife of the late George Finch for 58 years. Arbutus and George retired and moved from Michigan to Columbus, MS in 2001. Arbutus and George attended New Hope United Methodist Church where they had a wonderful church family. Following her dear husband George's passing, she moved back to Michigan to with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sister-Phyllis Sievert and sisters-in-law-Helen Tinsley, Alabama and Geneva Wright, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Finch was the loving mother of James (Linda) Finch, Mark (Terri) Finch, Kathy (Ruben) Ramos, all from Michigan; cherished grandmother to Adam (Angie), Jason (Maila), Derek, Christopher (Leah), Jessica (Bill), Justin (Jennifer), Jordan (Courtney), and Brittany; great-grandmother to Hannah, Madeline, Benjamin, Alex, Lisa, Cora, Lucy, Ellyana, Madison, and Porter; dear sister to Raymond (Arlene) Lay, Bob (Shirley) Lay, Beatrice Winegardner; dearest sister-in-law to Robert Finch, Columbus, MS; Geraldine (Ken) Macklin, Illinois; Frances Adams, Columbus, MS; Charles (Shirley) Finch, Columbus, MS; Alton (Marcia) Finch, Caledonia, MS
