Ashley Morgan Lucas, 28, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lowndes Funeral Home in Columbus, MS. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00am at Tabernacle Cemetery in Ethelsville, AL with Bro. Shawn Nygard officiating with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Miss Lucas was born October 18, 1986 to William Lucas and Nolie Adams in Amory, MS. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather-Marshall Doty, paternal grandfather-Bill Lucas; step-grandfathers- Franklin Adams, and Michael Persechino. Miss Lucas is survived by her mother-Nolie (Doug) Adams, Columbus, MS; father-William (Jennifer) Lucas, Columbus, MS ; brothers-Canyon Boykin, Austin Adams, Joshua Lucas, and Jonathan Lucas, all of Columbus, MS; beloved companion-Eric Ashton, Columbus, MS; maternal grandmother-Blinda Doty paternal grandmothers-Mary Lucas-McDill, Columbus, MS and step-grandmothers Claudia Adams and Norma Persechino, both of Columbus, MS. Pallbearers will be Canyon Boykin, Austin Adams, Joshua Lucas, Jonathan Lucas, Thomas Richardson, and Eric Ashton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital, Dr. Fidel Ruiz, Nurses and Staff at UAB-HTICU.
