Audrey Louise Lancaster Gore, 73 of Steens, MS passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Cornerstone Worship Center, Steens, MS with Bro. Bubba Dees officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Lowndes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Ms. Gore was born March 8, 1941 to the late Elmer Eugene & Mary Olene Harcrow Lancaster in Pickens County, AL and lived in the area her entire life. She retired from 4-County Electric Power Association in 2004 after 35 years of service as a clerk. Ms. Gore was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Ms. Gore was preceded in death by her son - Mark Gore and brother - Raymon Lancaster. Ms Gore is survived by her daughter - Gina (Chris) Handley, Steens, MS; son - Mike Gore - Ethelsville, AL; sisters - Marie (Robert) Jaynes, Ethelsville, AL and Dianne (Bobby) Bain, Ethelsville, AL; brother - Earl (Barbara) Lancaster, McShan, AL; sister-in-law - Reta Lancaster, Ethelsville, AL; grandchildren - Kristy Sansing, Mikayla Gore and Chase Gore.
