Barbara Ann Williamson, 78, of Columbus, MS, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Vernon Church, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Vernon Church, Columbus, MS with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating. Burial will follow after service. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS will be directing.

Mrs. Williamson was born September 2, 1945, in Starkville, MS to the late Emanuel Blasingame and Alene Vaughn Blasingame. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Church in Columbus, MS.  Mrs. Williamson worked as a seamstress for many years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, camping, fishing, and doll collecting. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williamson is preceded in death by her daughter- Sandra Jean; sister- Sue Green; brother- Jerry Blasingame, and stepmother- Norma Blasingame.

Mrs. Williamson is survived by her husband- Hubert "Buddy" Williamson, sons- David (Kara) Beam, Stacey (Cindy) Beam, Robert Beam, and Michael (Deirdra) Williamson; grandchildren – Brandi Kain, Josh Beam,  Tracy (Brad) Williams, Casey Beam, Nathan Williamson, Nikki Beam, and Allen (Jennifer) Beam; great-grandchildren – Blakley Kain, Mckenzie Kain, Emerson Kain, Ellis Williams, Drake Beam, Hallie Clausell, Grayson Beam, Brayden Beam, and Hayden Beam; sisters- Sandra (Marc) Lett and Jeannie (Jay) Solomon.
