Beatrice Ward, 92 of Maylene, AL passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Health Care Center at Buck Creek, Alabaster, AL.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jason Green officiating and Bro. P.J. Mortensen assisting.  Interment will be at Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Ward was born October 24, 1931, in Hamilton, AL to the late Erby and Mary Williams Winsett.  She was a member of Becker Baptist Church where she was in the choir.  Mrs. Ward loved the Lord and her church.  She was a beautician and loved to garden and grow her beautiful daylilies.  Mrs. Ward enjoyed quilting and made quilts for everyone in the family, she also loved to cook.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her husband – Edwin Honnoll, and grandchild – Kelly Ryan Honnoll.

Mrs. Ward is survived by her sons – Harold (Suzette) Honnoll, David (Evon) Honnoll, and Daniel Honnoll; daughter – Kimberly (William) Holmes; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother – James Winsett, nephew – Jimmy Winsett and niece – Aronda Doom.

Pallbearers will be Jason Honnoll, Derek Honnoll, William Holmes, Brian Wilemon, Miles Wilemon, and Ben Wilemon; honorary pallbearers will be Taylor Jones, Clay Jones, Shane Honnoll, Dustin Holmes, Robert Huddleston, and Michael Pittman.
