COLUMBUS— Becky Andrews, 74, went home to Jesus on May 13, 2020, at her residence.

A family graveside service will be held at 11:00 on May 16, 2020, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Matt Mohering officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.  Friends may view the service online at www.lowndesfuneralhome.net the following day.

Mrs. Andrews was born on November 5, 1945, to the late Richard and Robbie Hudson. She was a 1964 graduate of S.D. Lee High School, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Andrews was formerly employed as a lab technician with Lott Clinic. She was an active member of Community Baptist Church. Mrs. Andrews enjoyed shopping, antiquing, family gatherings, local seasonal events, and spending quality time with her TOPS girls. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Larry Andrews of Columbus; her sons Shane and Spence Andrews of Columbus; brother Jerry (Edy) Hudson of Lawton, Oklahoma; her beloved granddaughter Megan Rushing (Jonathan) of Kennedy, Alabama; and precious great-granddaughter Milayva Elesse Rushing of Kennedy, Alabama. Mrs. Andrews is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Bill Delk, Eugene Hughes, Mike Smith, Larry Richardson, George Coleman, and Dale Hardin. Honorary pallbearers will the senior adult men of Community Baptist Church. Lowndes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in honor of Becky Andrews to the Columbus-Lowndes Humane Society, 50 Airline Road, Columbus, MS 39702.
