Benny Wayne Eakin, 61 of Caledonia, MS passed away, Wednesday, May 30, 2019 at University Medical Center, Jackson, MS.

Mr. Eakin was born November 15, 1957 to Claudine Robinson Beason and the late Cyrus Eakin in Columbus, MS.  He was a veteran of the Mississippi National Guard and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Mr. Eakin was a truck driver for Burns Dirt Construction.

Mr. Eakin is survived by his fiancee - Stephanie Cantrell; mother - Claudine Robinson Beason; daughters - Misty Herrera and Brandy Harris; sons - B.J. Eakin and Cory Eakin; brothers - Mike and Chris; sisters - Tammy, Lisa, Cindy, Tina and Teresa.
