Beth Ann Smith Beth Ann Smith, 60, of Ethelsville, AL passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – GT, Columbus, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 6, 2012, from 6-9 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at 2 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. Ron Thomas officiating and Bro. Michael Shelton assisting. Interment will be in Tabernacle Cemetery, Ethelsville, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mrs. Smith was born July 16, 1952, in Waycross, GA to the late Murray and Mildred Vail Henry. She has been a resident of the Millport, AL area for 35 years. Mrs. Smith was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church and was previously employed with Eastwood Hills Daycare for ten years. She was a member of the homemakers club and was a substitute teacher at South Lamar for eight years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her sister – Murlyene Marshall. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband – W.C. Smith, Ethelsville, AL; sons – Curt (Tera) Smith, Millport, AL, Greg (Melani) Smith, Haleyville, AL, Bo Langford, Cullman, AL; daughter – Karen Smith (Keegan) Hays, Caledonia, MS; sisters – Phyllis (Gary) Parks, Millport, AL, Gayle (Edward) Barham, New Hope, MS; brothers – Buddy (Donna Jo) Henry, New Hope, MS, Wade Henry, New Hope, MS, Jerry (Sylvia) Henry, Escatawpa, MS; brother-in-law – George Marshall, New Hope, MS; grandchildren – Keller Smith, Camden Smith, Ty Smith, Bryce Hays, Hadley Smith, Reese Smith, and Ashton Hays. Pallbearers will be Lance Ayers, Dave Ayers, Ladd Coleman, Philip McNees, George Marshall, Mike Harris, Alan Youngblood, and Winn Prescott.
