Betty Jean Carroll, 80, of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, November 20, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT.

The family is doing a private service on their own.

Mrs. Carroll was born on November 28, 1939, in Raleigh, MS to the late Annie Mae Crout Develin and Earnest Develin. She enjoyed antiquing, traveling, reading, scrapbooking with her sister, gardening with her flowers, and loving soul mate to Sammy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carroll is preceded in death by her son- Alan Eugene Bounds, and brother- Billy Develin.

Mrs. Carroll is survived by her husband- Sammy Carroll of Columbus, MS; son- Michael (Lynn) Bounds of Swansboro, NC; stepchildren- Jason Carroll, Shane Carroll, Leanne Cooper, and Teresa Pennington; grandchildren- Victoria Bounds, Archie Carroll, Devin Carroll, Kyle Carroll, and Rayland Carroll; and sister- Ann Moulder.
