Betty Jean Richardson, 83, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Monday, December 18, 2017, at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wiggins officiating. Interment will be at Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Richardson was born November 14, 1934, in Columbus, MS to the late Erdeal Britt. She worked as a cashier/H&B Manager at Kroger for 27 years before she retired. Mrs. Richardson attended Victory Tabernacle Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Richardson will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by her daughter- Kathy Richardson Forrester and the late Darrell Forrester of Columbus, MS; sons- Larry James Richardson and his wife Sandra Frances Richardson of Columbus, MS; grandchildren- Summer Richardson Owens, Dalton Ray Forrester, Brittany Richardson, and Carson Taylor Forrester; great-grandchildren- Dylon Mason, Breanna Mason, and Declan Forrester; and one great-great grandchild- Kylie Grace Dennison.
