Beverly Gail Street, 86, of Columbus, MS, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  Funeral Service will be Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS entrusted with all arrangements.

Mrs. Street was born November 15, 1938, in her New Hope home in Lowndes County, to Evie Hughes Stratton and William Stratton. She was married to her husband, Ed Leamon Street, for 65 years. Mrs. Street was a graduate of New Hope School and the MS State College for Women with a business degree. She was a revenue agent with the Internal Revenue Service from 1966-1995. Mrs. Street was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, and reading.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Street is preceded in death by her brothers- W.T. Stratton, and Paul Stratton; and sisters Sally May, and Mae Keller.

Mrs. Street is survived by her husband of 65 years - Ed Leamon Street, sons - Steve (Christy) Street and Russell (Donna) Street, and grandchildren - Margaret Ann Street, Ragan Street, and and Riley (Maddie) Street.
