Bill Leggett, 81, of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 1-3 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 3 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Ray officiating. Interment will be in Eastview Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Leggett was born in Tishomingo County, MS to the late Dewey and Hillada Hudson Leggett. He liked working outdoors, working around the yard. He was a "piddler" and enjoyed his lawnmower.

Mr. Leggett is survived by his wife- Jeanette Leggett; daughters- Pam Dowell, Dekalb, IL, Laura Nelson, Rockford, IL, Rhonda Cantrell (Brian)- DeKalb, IL, Briget McCormack (Patrick), Plano, IL, Gigi Goldsboro (Dale), Sheridan, IL; son- Rick Hausler, Elwood, IL; sisters-Agnes McDuffie,  Linda Knott, Doris Polston and Mary Jane Leggett; brother-  Paul Leggett (Grace); fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Pres Pridmore, Rick Hausler, Dale Goldsboro, Jacob Goldsboro, Zachary Goldsboro and Corey Cantrell.
