Billy Ray Peeks, 76, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020, at his residence.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 3, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Macedonia Cemetery, Millport AL with Bro. Melvin Mordecai officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Peeks was born May 8, 1944, in Pickens County, MS to the late Leon and Willie Mae Kelley Peeks.  He loved to work in his garden and enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Peeks is preceded in death by his two wives- Betty Jean Peeks and Roxanne Marie Peeks; grandchild- Nicholas Taylor; one sister and three brothers

Mr. Peeks is survived by his daughters- April Peeks, and Lisa Peeks Pannell; son- Gary Peeks; grandchildren- Kimberly Tedford, Kayla Taylor, Luke Scarbrough, Carrie Pannell, Stinson Peeks, Aiden Taylor, Brent Taylor, and Hallen Taylor; greatgrandchildren- Hayden and Clayton, Kayle Gann, Cheyenne Scarbrough, and Maisie Tedford, five brothers, and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be Josh Tedford,  Bradley Peeks, Larry Wayne Peeks, Wayne Bush, Sean Peeks, and Aiden Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Johnson, Bobby Bowen, Brent Taylor, and Lucas Scarbrough.
