Bobby Gene Beasley, 59 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27, 2020, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Bartahatchie Baptist Church.  A funeral service will be Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Bartahatchie Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Fowlkes officiating.  Interment will be at Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Beasley was born on February 16, 1961, in Columbus, MS to Buddy Beasley and the late Dorothy Louise Honeycutt Bradley.  He attended Bartahatchee Baptist Church and was employed with Baldor Electric as a supervisor for the past 37 years.  Mr. Beasley enjoyed hunting and fishing but mostly he loved spending time with his family and helping his friends.  In addition to his mother, Mr. Beasley was preceded in death by his brother – Randy Honeycutt, and sister – Cindy Simpson; step-father – Earl Honeycutt.

Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife  - Kathy Beasley, Columbus, MS; father – Buddy (Hazel) Beasley, Avendale, LA; children – Brandy Beasley, Courtney Beasley, David (Victoria) Holliman, Katelyn Holliman, Jennifer (Michael) Parker, and William Haughton; brothers – Eddie (Sophie) Honeycutt, Ricky (Brenda) Honeycutt, James (Angie) Beasley, Terry (Ashley) Beasley, Bobby Beasley; grandchildren – Abby Manzolillo, Faith Manzolillo, Byron Channels, Zackary Channels, Melissa Turner, Ariel Holliman, Alex Morgan, and Kinsley Parker.

Pallbearers will be Randy Barksdale, Jeremy Boykin, Allen Boykin, Joseph Richardson, Ray Hollis, and Phil Moore.  The honorary pallbearer will be Doug Nickoles.
