Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Bobby Harcrow, 75, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at his home.

A funeral service will be Monday, December 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Columbus, MS with Bro. Chris Rutledge and Rev. James Black officiating.  A visitation will be one hour before the service.  Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Bobby was born on March 24, 1945, to the late Earl McKinley Harcrow and Bertha Harcrow in Lowndes County, MS, and graduated from Liberty High School in 1963.  He served in the Mississippi Army National Guard for six years.  Bobby married Thretha Yearby on October 7, 1967.  He served roles in many work environments – Humboldt Products for 13 years, Federal Aviation for 7 years, Weyerhaeuser maintenance technician for 30 years where he retired in 2013.  He loved music, reading books, gardening, fishing, and Alabama football.  Bobby mostly loved watching his son Todd grow up playing sports, coaching several of his Propst Park teams, and enjoying spending time with his grandsons.  Bobby was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church for 29 years, where he loved being a part of the development of a blossoming young church. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his daughter – Lisa Maria, and 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 53 years – Thretha Harcrow; son – Todd (Laurie) Harcrow; grandsons – Cayden and Cooper Harcrow; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Fullilove, Larry Fullilove, Judge Jim Kitchens, Jerry McDill, Robert Clay, and Bob Johnson.  Honorary pallbearers will be a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church along with David and Michelle Miller, Ron and Angela Koch, and Hoot and Sharron Garriga.
