Bobby D. Pounders, 84 of Caledonia, MS, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Hamilton Church of God of Prophecy in Hamilton, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Hamilton Church of God of Prophecy in Hamilton, MS, with Bro. Byron Harris and Pastor Billy Stevens officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS will be directing.

Mr. Pounders was born November 6, 1940, in Lackey, MS, to the late Irene Shepherd Pounders and Quinon Roosevelt Pounders,  He was a Minister at the Church of God or Prophecy and Zion Assembly Church of God for much of his life. Mr. Pounders was a great Christian man, who was always busy serving the Lord.  He loved gardening, and fishing, and loved his family dearly. Mr. Pounders loved spending time with his grandkids. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pounders is preceded in death by his wife- Cathy Pounders; sons- Ricky Pounders and Nicky Pounders; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Mr. Pounders is survived by his children- Lori Winters, Billy (Julie) Pounders, Tim Pounders, David (Diane) Pounders, and Phillip (Amy) Pounders; grandchildren- Dustin, Brittany, Asalyn, Derek, Tyler, Allie, Katlyn, Dottie, Dylan, Bailey, Nicholas, Karlson, Malorie, and Moriah; great-grandchildren- Hadleigh, Bentley, Sawyer, Emberly, Marissa,   John Patrick, William, Percy, Chloe, Beau, Cameron, Luke, Campbell, Paisley, Beau Michael, Lynleigh; and numerous brothers and sisters.
