Bobby Joe Rast, 46, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019, at his residence.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 6:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. George Woods officiating.

Mr. Rast was born June 27, 1972, in Columbus, MS to Katherine Bair Rast and the late Paul Lee Rast, Sr. He was a truck driver for many years. Mr. Rast loved his family and enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing.

Mr. Rast is survived by his wife- Dana Moore Rast; daughters- Amber (Michael) Cantrell, Kayla Rast; grandchildren- Alana Cantrell, Michael "Trey" Cantrell, III, Joshua Bell; mother- Katherine Bair Rast; 5 brothers; 3 sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Conn, Kenny Rogers, Chris Hudgens, James Baird, Danny Rast, Richard Rast, Paul Rast, and Shawn McDill.
