Bobby H. Ricks, 88 of Caledonia, MS passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Generations of Vernon in Vernon, Alabama.

Visitation will be Friday, September 29, 2023,  from 1:00 PM -2:00 PM at First Pentecostal Church in Caledonia, MS.  Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. Grant Mitchell officiating. Interment will be at Vaughn Cemetery in Caledonia, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Ricks was born March 4, 1935, in Kingsland, AR to the late Henry Ricks and Louella Elizabeth Pamplin Hunter. Mr. Ricks was a US Veteran. He retired from East Lowndes Water Company. He was a long-time founding member of Caledonia Pentecostal Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepmother- Vera Sedberry Ricks; daughter- Mary Helen Harris; son-in-law- Phillip Meredith; grandchild- Jon Owens; brothers- John Ricks, Jimmy Ricks, Jake Ricks, and Eugene Ricks; sister- Louella.

Mr. Ricks is survived by wife- Nila Jo Hardin Ricks; daughters- Carol (David) McDougald, Freda (Darren) Seago, Lisa Ricks, Earline "Runt" (Pete) Tourdot, Brenda (Melton) Knight, and Linda Meredith; sons- James (Brenda) Ricks and Benjy (Dottie) Jones; 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; brothers- J.M. (Judy) Ricks and Fred Ricks; sister- Christine (Robert) Hobbs.
