Bobby Coy Smith, 85, of Houston, MS passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at West Point Community Living Center.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM at North Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Kilmichael, MS with Rev. Joseph Shelton officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Smith was born on April 5, 1936, in Houston, MS to the late Bessie Elaine Savely Smith, and Willie Coy Smith. He was a member of the Christian Community. Mr. Smith retired as a TSGT from the United States Air Force after 25 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his daughter, Bobbie Gail Burkeen, and his brother, Billy Smith.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Gail Shelton Smith of Houston, MS; daughters, Kristin Smith of Houston, MS and Lynn (Perry) Potts of Norman, OK; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; 2 sisters, Betty Moore of Tupelo, MS, and Bonnie Johnson of Booneville, MS; his brother, Johnny Smith of Cullman, AL, and a host of nieces and nephews.
