Brenda Harris, 74, of Columbus, MS, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 1:30 PM at Eastview Church, Columbus, MS. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Harris was born on January 4, 1950, to the late Richard and Mildred Montgomery.  She was a member of Community Baptist Church, where she also worked in the nursery.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harris is preceded in death by her husband – Roy Lee Harris; daughters – Tammy Baucom and Catina Renee Parker; and sister – Joyce Brantley.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her son – Travis (Kim) Parker; daughter – Shelby (Kevin) Stokes; grandchildren – Myles (Tia) Greene, Myron (Railey) Greene, Hunter Parker, Dalton Parker, Blake McMullin, and Brody McMullin; great-grandchildren – Easton Stokes, Everlee Stokes, Brantlee Stokes, Olivia Wheeler, Tibby Greene, and Walker Greene; uncle – Harvey Blaxton; niece – Monica (Jimmy) Nabors; nephew – Richey (Gwen) Brantley; brother-in-law – Robert Brantley; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
