Brent Earl Bell, 59, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at his residence.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 1, 2017, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A memorial service will follow Friday, September 1, 2017, at 2:00 Pm in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Brown officiating.

Mr. Bell was born May 3, 1958, in Tupelo, MS to Fred Earl and Fay Christian Bell. He had a career in banking and finance that spanned a 35 year period. Mr. Bell retired from Citizens National Bank in 2010. He attended Ole Miss Banking School. Mr. Bell loved to play with shares and stocks in the stock market and enjoyed collecting different kinds of coins. He was preceded in death by his sweet wife Brenda Bell in 2012.

Mr. Bell is survived by his parents- Fred and Fay Bell of Columbus, MS; son- Derick Hatcher of Columbus, MS; and sister- Petie Bell (Wayne Jones) of Steens, MS.
