Brian Lane Bobitt, 59, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS, after losing his battle with cancer.

No services will be held at this time. A private family service will be held at a later date at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Lane was born on May 11, 1959, to Blanche Nichols Bobitt and the late James F. Bobitt. Lane worked with his family in Residential Building in Bobitt and Nichols Building Contractors for many years.

Lane is survived by his Mother- Blanche Nichols Bobitt; his Grandmother,-Ruth Clark Nichols of Columbus; Brother- Frank Bobitt of Norcross, Georgia; Daughter-Tiffany Jones; Granddaughters- Annalee Thomas, and Alexis Jones of Millport, Alabama.
