Britt Marcus Wright Britt Marcus Wright, 59 of Columbus, MS passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – GT, Columbus, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 2-3 pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A Memorial Service will follow at 3 pm in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS with Bro. Clark Richardson officiating. Interment will be in Crestlawn Cemetery in Ocean Springs, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mr. Wright was born October 4, 1952 in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Charles H. Wright and Dot McDaniel Lancaster. He was a native of Lowndes County, where he worked as a cook at the Waffle House. Mr. Wright enjoyed cooking and reading. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step father-Bill Lancaster and a brother-Mark Lancaster. Mr. Wright is survived by daughter-Allison Wright, Las Vegas, NV, son-Marcus (Kristine)Wright, Bay Minette, AL, brothers-Lance(Susan)Wright and Scott Lancaster both of Montgomery, AL, sister-Denise Hemphill, Baton Rouge, LA, 3 grandchildren-Alex Cantello, Jade Cantello and Marcus Cantello, dear friend-Larry Dale Parks, who took care of Britt, A Host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Dale Parks, Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT Hospice, Joe Hemphill, Jerry Talbot, Joe Jones and Chris Talbot.
