Odie Lee "Buddy" Guin, Jr. of Columbus, MS, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.

Buddy was born June 2, 1944, in Columbus, MS, to the late Odie Lee Guin, Sr. and Annie Guin. He is preceded in death by his wife- Bessie Jean Guin.

Buddy is survived by his daughters- Lisa (Mel) Brewer and Darlene Hill; grandchildren- Tamara Hill, Teresa Hill, Whitney (Bobby) Palmertree, Melissa (Josh) Bowles, and Abby Brewer; great grandchildren – James Nolden, Jamilya (Ashley) Nolden, Jeanetta Nolden, Jobbie Johnson IV, Wynn Palmertree, Brewer Bowles, Hunter Bowles, and Stryker Bowles; and great great grandchild- Kingston Johnson.
