Carl Clinton Cumberland, 89, of Fulton, MS passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022, at his residence.

A Visitation will be on July 20, 2022, from 11:30-1:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel Bro Billy Ferguson and Shawn Dickey.  Interment will be at Furnace Hill Cemetery in Vernon, AL.

Mr. Cumberland was born on July 17, 1933, in Neshoba County, MS to the late Jullie King Cumberland and Bud Cumberland.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting antiques.  Most of all, he enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Cumberland is preceded in death by a daughter, Clorie Carol, 5 brothers, and 1 sister.

Mr. Cumberland is survived by his wife, Ann Barksdale Cumberland; daughters Connie Wood, Deborah Owens, and Lesia Eaves; son – David Lawton;  10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Wood, Chris Wood, Al Lawton, Mike Owens, Frank Barksdale, and Ricky Cumberland.
