Carl Handley, 76, of Columbus, MS, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016, at his residence.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Cornerstone Worship Center, Columbus, MS. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 AM with Bro. Bubba Dees officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Handley was born November 12, 1939, to the late Gene and Irene Raines Handley in Alabama. He was a body mechanic with Chism Body Shop for 30 years. Mr. Handley, who was a people person, also pastored Victory Fellowship Church, Columbus, MS. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter-Bonnie York; and brothers-Millard Handley and Cecil Handley.

Mr. Handley is survived by his wife-Barbara Sue Peacock Handley, Columbus, MS; sons-Chris (Gina) Handley, Steens, MS and Ray Handley, Columbus, MS; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-Shelby (Bob) Freshour, Columbus, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Members of Victory Fellowship Church and Lynn Chism.
