Carl Edward Phillips, 82, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, August 7, 2017, at the Windsor Place, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Phillips was born February 15, 1935, in West Virginia to the late Coy Phillips and Valley Woods Phillips. He was the owner of Tasty Market where he worked as a meat cutter for 50 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruby Phillips.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his daughter- Angela Corbett of Columbus, MS; and grandchildren- Allison Corbett and Alyssa Corbett both of Columbus, MS.

The family will have a private memorial.
