Carlee Lovell McClelland, 75, of Columbus, MS went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, October 27, 2017.

Visitation will be Monday, October 30, 2017, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 12:30 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tommy Gillon officiating and Bro. Sammy Crawford assisting. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home Columbus, MS directing.

Mrs. McClelland was born October 27, 1942, in Columbus, MS to the late Carlos Bernard and Emma Gladys Vick Lovell. Her father passed away 8 months prior to her birth. Mrs. McClelland worked various jobs over the years. She loved to visit with her friends, going out to eat with them and taking the time to visit folks. Mrs. McClelland wrote a book that is currently in the archives department at the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library titled "Memories of Love" about her childhood and all of the fun with her loved sister, Ruby Lovell Lollar. She loved going to Fairview Baptist Church and Lynn Oliver's Sunday School to learn about God. She was a part of the Trinity Singers led by Pat Wallace and loved her cats. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McClelland is preceded in death by her husband Paul Eugene McClelland.

Mrs. McClelland is survived by her daughters- Angela Clayton (Tim) Barberi of Pensacola, FL, Mechelle Blair of Columbus, MS; grandchildren- Matt Funderburk, Casey Blair, Will Blair, Paul Blair, Tessa Funderburk; great-grandchildren- Alexis Blair, Theo Funderburk; sister- Ruby Frances Lovell Lollar; nieces and nephews- Lynn Lollar Cunningham, Brett Lollar and Tracey Lollar Ruasch.

Pallbearers will be Paul Blair, Will Blair, Casey Blair, Kaden Adams, and Brett Lollar. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kitty Lloyd, Sarah Williamson, Dr. Borden and staff.
