Carlene Frances Cadieux Cash, 62 of Steens, MS passed away Monday, August 8, 2016, at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2016, from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Columbus, MS.  A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM with Dr. Bill Hurt officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Cash was born August 31, 1953, to the late George and Madelene Ferry Cadieux in Holyoke, Mass and moved to Lowndes County in 1980 from Chicopee, Mass.  She was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed bowling for the past 20 years.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cash was preceded in death by her sisters – Geraldine Asprey, Constance Sloan, Lois West and Beverly West.

Mrs. Cash is survived by her son – Bryan (Sherry) Brown, Ridgeland, MS; daughter – Crystal (Jody) Smith, Columbus, MS; brothers – Benny West and Roger (Carol) West; sisters – Gail Berthiaume and Shirley Champagne; grandchildren – Marcy Dawn Smith, Jeremiah David Smith, Sasha parks and Maegan Garrett; great-grandchildren – Damion Bailey; numerous nieces and nephews.
