Carol Ann Bocek, 51 of Columbus, MS passed away, Friday, September 8, 2017, at her residence.

A graveside service will be Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 2 PM at Alabama National Cemetery, Montevello, AL with Rev. Byron Bradshaw officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Bocek was born September 10, 1965, to Paul and Elizabeth Cutrona Englund in Aurora, IL and moved to Columbus, MS eight years ago from Germany.  She was a self-employed Nanny for 8 years.  Mrs. Bocek was of the Christian faith, enjoyed crafts and was a good cook.

Mrs. Bocek is survived by her husband – Steven Paul Bocek, Columbus, MS and brother – Daniel Karmgard, Southbend, IN. and her parents – Paul and Elizabeth Englund, Huntsville, AL.
