Carol Fred Keller Carol Fred Keller, 76 of Columbus, MS went to be with His Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. Mr. Keller was born May 18, 1936 to the late Burton Guy and Mildred Keeran Keller in Topeka, KS. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam era. Mr. Keller moved to the Columbus area 32 years ago from Houma, LA and attended Evangel Church, Columbus, MS.He was employed as an Instrument Engineer with the former Welex Subsidiary of Halliburton for twenty plus years. He retired in 2006 from Lowe's Home Improvement Stores after 13 years of service. He enjoyed computers, was an avid reader and a fan of Bill O'Reilly. Mr. Keller was a great husband, father and grandfather; he loved caring for his granddaughter which was his "reward for growing old." Mr. Keller is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jeannie Chatagnier Keller, Columbus, MS, daughters – Monica Keller, Columbus, MS and Nanci Amro, Columbus, MS, brother – Otis A. Keller, Springfield, MO, granddaughter – MiDori Keller, Special Family Friend – Parmin Kusumah and Childhood Friend – Errol Anderson and a host of nieces and nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be Benny Edwards, Parmin Kusumah, Otis A. Keller, Neil Naquin, Eldon Evans and Errol Anderson.
