Carole Ann Cline Wegener, 75, passed away on October 15, 2019, at her residence,
Carole was a member of New Covenant Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. She served as the City Clerk in Sundance Wyoming for may years and retired from Health South Physical Therapy as the office manger in Columbus, MS.
She belonged to the Beta Sigma Phi International Women's Sorority-life member- Beta Sisters are truly my Sisters.
Carole was married to Gerald Westover to which five children were born. She married Robert Nelson "B.J." Wegener in 1982. She enjoyed flower gardening, scrapbooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren, teaching them all to Keep God First. Some of her favorite sayings include: "Use it up, wear it out, make do or do without" "Pick your battles" and "There are three sides to every story: yours, mine and the truth!"
She was preceded in death by her parents Harney Andrew Cline and Opal Willa Meisner Cline; brothers Adrian Cline, Robert "Bobby" Cline, Dennis Cline, Roger Cline and sisters Jean Cummings, Cystal Cope, Joyce Cummings and daughter Audrey Jean Allen and her husband Robert "B.J." Wegener, Jr.
She is survived by daughters: DeEtte (Randy) Speranza, Vickie (Garry) Kinard, Robin Harris; sons: Todd (Rachal) Wegener and Justin (Daphne) Westover; sister: Becky Cummings; grandchildren: Dawn Baswell, Chris Sand, Jalisa Neal, Ryan "Kyle" Coleman, Wesley "Brandon" Westover, Cody Coleman, Robert "Heath" Westover, Preston Kinard, Wesley Kinard, Chris (Savannah) Kinard, Shannon Holbrook, Faith Wegener, Zach Wegener; sixteen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She is loved and missed by all as she taught us to love with everything we have and to love unconditionally. Mrs. Wegener's family will hold a Celebration of Life Service in Spring 2020.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of Beta Sigma Phi International Woman's Society and their families, the members of New Covenant Baptist Church, Greg Harris and Larry Coleman.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cff.org) and the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org).
