Carolyn Dean White, 71, of Columbus, MS, passed away at her residence.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Living Faith Tabernacle Church, Columbus, MS. Service will be Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Living Faith Tabernacle Church, Columbus, MS with Anthony Miller officiating. Interment will follow.
Mrs. White was born February 9, 1952, in Kosciusko, MS, to the late Billie Sue Jordan Hutchison and Billy Dean Hutchison. Mrs. White was a nurse for 46 years. Mrs. White loved to read. She was honored as Who's Who Among American Nurses and several other nursing awards. She was a great cook and was known for her lasagna and always having biscuits for anyone who came by the house. Mrs. White was a mother to many people throughout her life and touched so many lives. Mrs. White was a devoted follower of Jesus and was able to lead many people to Christ. She was previously a member of North Columbus Church of God and media member of Family Worship Center Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In addition to her parents, Mrs. White was preceded in death by her two sisters- Shelia Hutchison and Susan Munn.
Mrs. White is survived by her husband- Glenn White; daughters- Carol Suzanne (Steve) Lindsey, and Heather Suzette (Timothy) Parish; son- Billy Scott (Wendy) Sanderson; grandchildren- Dustin Tre (Anna Marie) Pitts, Alexa Brianna (Terry) Taylor, Jordan Taylor (Ethan) Monahan, Kory Madison Fields, Landon Scott Sanderson, Isaac Brady Shurden, Chris Blanton, Collin (Ashleigh) Haase, Britleigh Parish, and Bradlee Parish; 13 great greatgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Pitts, Landon Sanderson, Terry Taylor, Kelvin Robinson, Ethan Monahan, and Walker McCullough. Honorary Pallbearers will be Isaac Shurden, Timothy Parish, Collin Haase, Mark Hawkins, Doug Wiggins, Bradlee Parish, and Brian Rosamond.
Special Thanks to her friends for their help, especially Donna Wiggins and Penny Finch, Fred and Susan Gould. The family would also like to thank, Enhabit Hospice for all their loving care, especially Anita Peek, Darlene Potter, and Chaplain Stan Johnson.
