Catherine Ann Starr, 95, of Caledonia, MS, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at her residence.

Visitation will be Friday, November 7, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Service will be Friday, November 7, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS with Bro. Josh Pounders officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS. Lowndes Funeral Home will be directing.

Mrs. Starr was born October 5, 1930, in Peoria, Illinois, to the late William Corwin and Zoella Schabatka Corwin. She was a military spouse for 37 years. Mrs. Starr worked at Columbus Cleaners. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Starr is preceded in death by her husband- Robert Starr; son- Jack (Kathy) Starr; grandchild- Danielle Elaban; and sister- Terry (Eddie) Vought.

Mrs. Starr is survived by her son-Robert (Vonnie) Starr; daughters- Michele (William) Winters and Rebecca (Lee) Elaban; and  son- William (Rhonda) Starr; grandchildren- Brian (Melanie) Starr, Mindy Starr, Joseph (Jennifer)  Winters, Nalani (Bryan) Rulli, Anna (Jake) Starr-Williams, and LeeAnn (Shane) Starr-Sweat; 9 great grandchildren, and nephew- Barry Lance.

Honorary Pallbearers will be- Robert Starr, William Starr, William Winters, Lee Elaban, Michael Salas, and Joseph Winters.
