Catherine Marie Gee Tilley, 92, of Ethelsville, AL passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at her residence.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Linda Shelton officiating and Rev. Ricky Green assisting. Interment will be at Forest Cemetery, Ethelsville, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Tilley was born July 14, 1925, in Pickens County, AL to the late John William Gee and the late Rossie Wilcox Gee. She was a member of Forest United Methodist Church, Ethelsville, AL. Mrs. Tilley worked as an assembly line worker at United Technologies for 38 years before retiring. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Tilley.

Mrs. Tilley is survived by her sons- Waymon Earl (Vera) Tilley of Ethelsville, AL and Ronald "Ronnie" Wade Tilley; grandchildren- Nancy (Jim) Ray, Joseph Tilley, and Catherine Michelle Tilley; great-grandchild- James Ray, III; brother- John William Gee; and sister- Betty Gee McNees.

Pallbearers will be Joe Tilley, J.D. Ray, Jim Ray, Mike Gee, Donald Tilley, and Joe Barnes. Honorary pallbearers will be Staff of West Alabama Hospice, and her caregivers.
