On May 20, 2016, our beloved Father, Brother, and Friend went home to be with Lord, or in his words, he is now in Paradise.  He passed peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 6, 1954, to the late J.D. and Hazel Bush of Ethelsville, AL.

He is survived by daughters Beckie Holbrook (Bobby) of Fort Walton Beach,  FL and Amanda Bush (Zach) of Clanton, AL; son Wayne Bush (April) of Columbus, MS; brother James Bush (Cathy), sisters Bobbie Herrington (Don), Pauline Oglesby (Jeff), Margie Sledge (Raymond), Debra McDaniel (Johnny); grandchildren Cooper Holbrook, Destiny, Bridget, Brielle, Brent, Brett and Hallen Bush, and Logan and Landon Crumpton; 10 nieces and nephews.

He retired from United Technologies after 25 years of service.  He enjoyed fishing, nature, playing pool, spending time with his friends and family, but he most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Wayne lived life his way, and the way he wants to be remembered is no exception. Please join us for some BBQ and his favorite lemon ice box pie as we celebrate his life on Friday, May 27, 2016, from 5-7pm at Forrest Community Center, 189 County Road 89, Ethelsville, AL 35461.
