Cecil Gary Fleming, 62 of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 26, 2021, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A graveside service will be Monday, December 27, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Rev. Curtis Bray officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Fleming was born July 3, 1959, in Macon, MS to the late Thad Calvin and Martha Boykin Fleming.  He was the owner of Penske Truck Rental, Columbus, MS for the past 20 years.  Mr. Fleming was an avid racing fan and Auburn fan.  He loved his family, friends and his dog – Jesse.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Fleming was preceded in death by his sister – Vicky Jean Fleming.

Mr. Fleming is survived by his brothers – Steve (Allyson) Fleming and Thad Fleming, Jr.; nephews Cal and Cory Fleming.

Pallbearers will be Todd Graham, Lee Ray, Mike McGill, Cory Fleming, Cal Fleming, Jeffrey Moody, and Joe Ables.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Kinsey, Charles Aldridge, Management and Employees of Penske Truck Rental.
