Cecil Evelyn Smith, 78, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Garden Hill Assisted Living, Columbus, MS.

A visitation will be Sunday, June 27, 2021, from 1:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 P.M.  at Shuqualak Cemetery, Shuqualak, MS with Bro. Glenn Miller officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mrs. Smith was born on June 24, 1943, in Macon, MS. She worked at United Technologies for over 40 years and retired as a Quality Control supervisor. Mrs. Smith enjoyed reading and taking care of her cat- Lucy.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents-John Sharp and Golden Bell Edwards; her husband- Donald Smith; and her sister- Thelma Campbell.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter- Ginger (Derek) Sparkman of Macon, MS; and niece Constance (Randy) Wade of West Monroe, LA.
