Charlene Coyle, 80 of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at Monroe Regional Hospital, Aberdeen, MS.
Mrs. Coyle was born January 24, 1941, to the late Kenneth Duane Jorgenson and Bernise May Shelrock Jorgenson at Pepperell Air Force Base, Goose Bay Labrador, Newfoundland, Canada. She was a member of the Methodist church. Mrs. Coyle retired in 2006 from Columbus Air Force Base where she worked in Civil Service Human Resources for 20 years. She enjoyed canning vegetables, sewing, upholstery, and working in her flower garden. Mrs. Coyle was a DIY person and was ready to try any task. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Coyle was preceded in death by her husband – Julian Thomas Coyle.
Mrs. Coyle is survived by her children - Debbie D.K. Ballard, Kennedy, AL, Kenneth James Duplechain, Pensacola, FL, David Duane Duplechain, Steens, MS, and Lisa Smith, Steens, AL; step-son – Julian (Vena) Coyle, Jr., Nashville, TN. Sisters – Lila Warden and Lois Patterson; brother – Jon Jorgenson, Harvey Jorgenson; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
